Balkan is in trouble. Footballers had to return to Prague, plane windshield cracked | Currently

Balkan players faced complications on their return from the Europa League match in Prague. Due to a cracked windshield in the pilot’s cabin, the plane with the Kosovo team had to make an emergency landing again at Prague Airport.

“After 30 minutes into the flight, the plane was damaged in the air. We are all fine and that is the most important thing, but it was dangerous,” Koha Detor daily quoted an unnamed member of the mission as saying.

The Boeing 737 of the Bulgarian company Pol Air with the Balkany team on board took off from Rosen Airport 10 minutes before midnight on Thursday, but returned to Prague 40 minutes later.

After that, the unplanned hero of Kosovo stayed in the Czech capital for the night and did not fly to Pristina on an alternate plane of the same company until 9:00 in the morning. Just before eleven o’clock the team arrived home.

Balkany advanced twice on Thursday night at Eden in Prague, but eventually lost to Slavia 2:3.
