Defense ministers of European Union member states will discuss the establishment of training missions for Ukrainian soldiers at an informal meeting in Prague. The head of EU foreign affairs, Josep Borell, told journalists before the meeting. According to him, the situation in Ukraine has not improved since the Russian aggression began. The European Union has supported this country and will continue to do so.

“This idea of ​​a training mission is old. We talked about it before the war started,” Borrell said. He hopes his ministers will “give the green light” at today’s meeting, with the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy adding that further supplies of military equipment to attacked countries will also be discussed. .
