Singer Hana Zagorova has been on the popular music scene for more than fifty years and has become the Golden Nightingale nine times. She was also a songwriter, screenwriter, and the owner of 19 platinum and gold records for successful sales to audio companies with her songs selling nearly 11 million.
She celebrated her 75th birthday last September. As one of the main gifts, she gave herself a book about herself called Absolutely Necessary.
In 1992, she married Slovak tenor Stefan Margueta, who performed several times at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden in London.
