code The Guardian writesThe ship, which weighs three billion pounds (86 billion crowns) and has 1,600 people on board, is experiencing shaft problems. It remained off the southern coast off the Isle of Wight and an army spokesman said the technical problems were being investigated. Divers were sent to the 280-meter vessel after damage to the ship’s hatch was reported.

HMS Prince of Wales is the largest British warship and the flagship of NATO. She had problems in the past. I stayed in Portsmouth in late 2020 when water entered the engine room and damaged electrical wires. In her two years of service, she has spent less than 90 days at sea, dealing with a water leakage problem multiple times.

This time it would cross the Atlantic Ocean and stop in Halifax, New York and the Caribbean. The crew will participate in an operations exercise involving F-35B fighter jets and unmanned systems.
