Brazilian defender Marcelo, who left Real Madrid after 15 years, will continue his football career at Olympiacos Piraeus.
The 34-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Greek Championship club, where Czech goalkeeper Tomas Vaclic works, with an option for another season. After Marcelo arrived on Monday welcome 20 thousand spectators at Olympiacos Stadium.
Marcelo won the Champions League for the fifth time with Real Madrid this year. He also won six Spanish titles with the Madrid club and won two Cup titles. With 25 titles, he is the most successful player in Real Madrid’s history. But he was left out of last season’s squad.
