Russia has stolen more than one million tons of grain from the Luhansk region of Ukraine. This was announced by the governor of this region, Sarhaj Hajjaj, on Saturday. Shareholders are not paid and their lands are occupied in the Luhansk region. Hajjaj wrote on Telegram that the occupiers stole more than one million tons of grain.

He accused the Russians of withdrawing new equipment from some areas and leaving nothing for farmers to plant and harvest.
This year is expected to be “the biggest harvest in many years” and the crop should surpass last year’s record, Lyubov Bezkorovajnova, deputy director of the Luhansk Oblast Agricultural Bureau, said in August.
In July, the United Nations and Turkey brokered an agreement to export millions of tons of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports. On Friday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said the agreement was not being implemented properly.
President Vladimir Putin this week called the agreement a fraud for poor countries, because most of the grain he says goes to the European Union.
