Slavia players tied 1:1 in the seventh round of the first league in Slovakia. Prague residents top the incomplete standings table by just one point over champion Pilsen, who has a game in hand.
Mirčás Duskí gave the hosts the lead after just 15 seconds with the fastest goal of the season, and Lukáš Provod equalized for the visitors in the 74th minute with a penalty. Neither Red and White have won the first competition after five consecutive victories, and Slovácko has scored points after the two previous league defeats.
For both teams, the duel was a preparation for Thursday’s opening match of the European Conference League group. Slovácko will enter with a home match against Partizan Belgrade, and Slavia will present himself at Turkey’s Sivasspor Stadium.
The game was determined by a lightning start. Petržel extended the long kick after the play to Duskí, who finished with his shot behind Mandous thanks to a run.
