The Slovácko manager had an accident on a motorbike after the tie with Partizan, and he is currently in hospital

The sporting director of the Slovácko soccer team Velič Šumulikoski crashed on an electric scooter and had to be taken to hospital.

According to the available information, the serious accident was supposed to happen on Friday, shortly after midnight, but its circumstances are not yet known.

A club spokesman confirmed the accident. Marek Jurac confirmed: “We know that he has had a crash on his motorbike and is in hospital. We have no further information.”

According to information from Aktuálně.cz, the sports director is in hospital due to a head injury he sustained when he fell from a motorbike. Fortunately, Šumulikoski is out of danger and under the care of doctors.

On Thursday evening, Slovácko played a duel in the Europa League with Partizan Belgrade, in which they ended up in a 3:3 draw, although they were leading 2:0 during the match and played a game of strength.

The former Macedonian international previously played for Slovakia as a player. Among other things, he also worked in English Ipswich, Russian Zenit Saint Petersburg, or Chinese Teda. After his professional playing career ended, he moved on to an official role, and in recent years was Slovácko’s Sports Director.
