About 40 students rotate in Thermal each year, but most do not stay in the hotel after that.

According to the school administration, the coronavirus pandemic may also have had an impact on the flow of high school graduates for catering and services from the fields they studied. This particularly affected the field of gastronomy.

However, there are several reasons why students leave the local business. Some of them will not develop a relationship with the field even in three years, and some will take advantage of better offers in Germany or neighboring Prague.

Up to half of the students who study tourism and hospitality will start working in an entirely different industry.
